15 days agoThere is nothing wrong with this idea. But going all in, quitting your job, and taking out huge loans to start a business is risky.
I suggest doing one of two things.

Open shop in your free time after work. Only invest money you already have. When the business is taking up all your free time, and you are profitable, and you have more work already in the pipeline, then consider pulling the trigger.

Get a job at an existing 3d printing company. Learn not just the tech, but the business side - niches, sales, profit margins, etc. Make connections. Then find your own niche and start at (1).
Also possibly because people think of open source software as inherently unstable.
Realistically, this looks like it was made by someone with the barest grasp of the concept, who just put random words on paper.
