1 day agoYeah the p2p nature of it means it scales really well if anything goes viral. Not to say throwing a video on some video tags in HTML isn’t a bad idea.

6·5 days agoI once reset a computer and forgot I had a Bitcoin wallet on it. So I reset the drive and forgot to keep the home partition.
It had multiple Bitcoin back when it was less than 10ish. Mined with a bunch of people for the fun of it. Thought nothing of it until recently lol. That hard drive died a long time ago and is in some dump somewhere. I guess I helped keep the price for everyone else. So your welcome?
I agree simple-scan is awesome.
I just like when I do an update and my computer uses less data…and its a bit faster. Thats happened a couple of times. Feels good.
2·21 days agoA repurposed old PC with something like yunohost, generic Debian, or some lightweight Linux will probably get you what you need.

Agreed. Im seeign a lot of new faces in peertube land. Its been a pretty good time.
I kinda want to do a “best of peertube 2025” and get a couple of 10 second clips together just for fun. Just like a “best of” with some collabs if possible.
